Colel Chabad fills the gaps for Israel's poor.
Grabski Multiple Sclerosis Centers
Colel Chabad’s in/outpatient center for victims of Multiple Sclerosis is the only one of its kind in Israel to serve the needs of victims of this terrible degenerative illness. It is also one of the cutting edge institutions of its kind in the world, one that is carefully monitored and emulated by similar institutions worldwide.
MS is a disease of the nervous system that strikes adults in the early prime of their lives, ultimately leaving them totally paralyzed without affecting their intelligence or ability to think or be creative.
The Grabski Center has pioneered cutting edge therapies for MS victims in the areas of horticulture, music and art. Likewise it has created an in-patient environment that maximizes the self-sufficiency of its resident patients in order to maintain their dignity and pride.
The Finger Residence Hall
Owing to its pioneering success, a second Colel Chabad center has been constructed with a campus situated in the heart of Jerusalem. The new center cares for both, MS victims and victims of other neurological illnesses.
