Long after the return home, their battle continues

Colel Chabad’s newest program aims to help soldiers and civilians suffering from anxiety and PTSD

The truth about war:
it never really ends.

Soldiers return their guns and leave the field – but the nightmares, worries, and flashbacks come with them.

Civilians leave the shelters and go back to work – but the anxiety, terror, and crippling fears follow close behind.

Thousands of our brave soldiers and strong civilians are already suffering from PTSD and anxiety.

And it’s expected that thousands more will begin to show the signs too in the months and years to come.

While there are programs for PTSD and anxiety in Israel, most are focused on “first-aid.”

  • They’ll help with the first call for help, but you’re on your own afterward.
  • Only the first few treatments are covered, after which you pay out of pocket.
  • There’s little to no focus on the families of those dealing with trauma, many of whom also need to heal.

They’ve sacrificed enough already.

The Mabat Center in Tzfat is Colel Chabad’s therapy center, a project of Yad Moshe.

Now, as the affects of the war grip families across the country, Colel Chabad is expanding Mabat’s services to include programs specifically for PTSD and anxiety.

The first PTSD & anxiety program of its kind in Israel – and especially in the North.
