A RECAP OF YOUR SUPPORT OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS
Tefillos in Teverya
Our widows and single mothers from Tzfat took a special day trip to Teverya – starting with heartfelt prayers at the kever of Rabbi Meir Baal Hanes, and ending with a peaceful afternoon by the Kinneret.
Together, they prayed for the safety and security of the Jewish people in Israel – and paused to bless you – the supporters whose generosity sustains them all year. As the Torah says, “I will surely hear their cry” (Shemos 22:21-23). The Rambam teaches that Hashem holds a special tenderness for the prayers of widows and orphans.
This day of comfort and joy was made possible by you. Your kindness tells these women one simple truth: they are seen, they are valued, and they are never alone.
25 new kollels join the Kollel Tiferes Levi Yitzchak network
Twenty-five new kollels have joined the Kollel Tiferes Levi Yitzchak network over July – a remarkable wave of growth in Torah learning. Among them: a brand-new kollel in Mevo Horon, launched under the leadership of Rabbi Shlomo Marmarosh, shlita. Dozens of retirees from the community have already signed on, choosing to spend their golden years immersed in Torah study.
A helping hand at Colel Market Tzfat
Colel Market in Tzfat has launched a new senior-friendly shopping initiative, offering dedicated staff assistance every Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 every evening.
Volunteers provide one-on-one help with finding products, navigating checkout, and packing groceries – changing a simple errand into a comfortable, accessible, and dignified experience for older adults in the community.
Building homes in Tzfat
Colel Chabad Tzfat and Derech Habayit came together for a special evening dedicated to strengthening the Jewish home. Harav Mordechai Bistritzky delivered a dvar Torah to the couples in attendance, followed by a keynote from Harav Avner Kavas on building healthy communication and lasting positivity at home.
Dr. Michael Bend shared research-based tools for cultivating security, calm, and emotional resilience in family life, while Harav Menachem Kenig closed the evening with a joint session introducing a new community investment initiative to help families access practical, high-value support. Together, the evening reflected one shared goal: giving families the tools to build stronger homes and brighter futures.
Dressing dignity
This June, we ran two large clothing distributions for those in need. Some feedback: “A huge Yasher Koach, I have no words. People left so happy, thank G-d. You have many merits. You have truly merited to bring joy to hundreds of families.” It’s you, our donors, who make moments like these possible.
